Jaipur, also known as Pink City, is the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan. With alluring forts, large havelis, stunning edifices, and magnificent palaces this place emulates a beautiful past and a dignified present. The pompousness of turbans, eye popping architecture, textiles and jewellery attract attention of local and global tourists. The excellence of this place can only be experienced by observing it. Being the city of hues, fests and fairs it welcomes a huge crowd throughout the year. Some of the outstanding events enjoyed by visitors, if you plan to come on vacation there are so many events to enjoy such as the Teej festival, Elephant festival, Gangaur festival, Kite festival and Camel festival.

Jaipur has always enjoyed the status of a well-established business centre; various shopping zones like Kishanpole Bazar, M.I road, Babu Bazaar, Johari Bazar, Chaura Rasta have been eternal favorite among national as well as international shopaholics. The Sanganer area, on the other hand, is quite famous for hand-block painting and handcrafted paper. Most excellent time to take a trolll in its captivating heritage is between October and March when the weather comparatively cooler. The monsoon hits the city between July and September. Winters in this city witness a moderate sun and soothing climate for most of the days. The temperature usually drops down to 1-2 oC at night. Early mornings and evenings are controlled by smog and chilling winds. The admirable months to visit this mesmerizing city vary between October and March. Chilly days have an astonishing spell on pink city which making it one of the most lively places for visit. The climate then is amusing enough to take a road trip round the city of Rajputs. During rainy days, the flights usually get deferred, landslips are common. So it's preferred to avoid this season.
