This year's theme, The Vintage Edit, draws from defining design movements that shaped jewellery across eras; from the symmetry and geometry of Art Deco, to the fluid ornamentation of Edwardian craftsmanship, and the bold yet composed expressions of Retro design.

It reflects a time when jewellery was created with structure where filigree work, hand-engraving, and intricate settings brought depth to jewel pieces. Coloured gemstones were selected for their modern expressions, diamonds carried a softer, diffused brilliance, and designs were guided by balance of traditional and new-age craft. At JEA, we celebrate this design philosophy, one that has endured beyond trends and continues to influence contemporary jewellery at its finest. Each entry is an opportunity to interpret these codes of vintage design, where archival inspiration meets modern execution.
