Terms and Conditions

The Jewellers Entries :

  • Please ensure to complete one entry form for each piece entered in every category. Kindly double-check that all fields are filled accurately.
  • Each entry must be accompanied by photograph(s) and full payment.
  • All details, photograph submissions, and payments should be made through the online portal exclusively.
  • Application fees are non-refundable. Please review all information thoroughly before submission.
  • Retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, e-commerce entities, brand labels, and goldsmiths from all over India are eligible to apply for the Jewellery Eminence Awards 2024.
  • Kindly make sure that the application fee is notably understood by the owner/partner/director of the company.
  • Entry fee is applicable on the number of entries submitted as given below.
    • a. For 1 Entry- ₹ 5,000 + GST @18%
    • b. For 2 Entries - ₹ 7500 + GST @18%
    • c. For 3 Entries - ₹ 9000 + GST @18%
    • d. More than 3 Entries - ₹ 2500 each + GST
  • * Note: GST @ 18% will be charged extra. One jewellery piece/ set/ pair/ design can participate in one category only. Similar designs, if found will be disqualified from the awards.
  • Multiple entries in one category are allowed but kindly make sure that the same design should not be repeated in the same or other categories (for e.g. Two pieces of Necklaces entered in the Diamond Necklace of The Year category will be marked as two entries separately and separate photos are to be submitted for each entry).
  • The participating jeweller must provide evidence that the specific design is their original creation, which should be presented in case of any dispute regarding the design. The decision of the JEA committee will be conclusive and binding.
  • To ensure smooth operations, we kindly request your cooperation with the Jewellery Eminence Awards committee regarding the deadlines for the submission of materials/jewellery.
  • The Jury of JEA 2024 holds the ultimate authority in determining the award winners. Their decision is final, conclusive, and binding. Winners or any other individuals have no legal or other rights to contest or dispute the jury's decision.
  • JAS shall not be held legally liable for any property or personal damage or loss arising from any reason whatsoever regarding the Jewellery Eminence Awards 2024.
  • All natural (i.e. mined) diamond jewellery must comply with the Kimberley Process system of warranties.
  • Please submit photographs of finished jewellery only. Sketches and/or CAD files will not be allowed and should be in the format mentioned in the photo format description.
  • The deadline for submission of entries is May 31th, 2024. Late or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
  • Once a submission is made, no additional photographs or copies will be accepted, nor will replacements be permitted.
  • The Award categories may be changed/modified / split / merged/increased or cancelled by the Jury based on the number and quality of entries received in each category. Awards management/jury may apply a minimum cap for the category to be awarded to maintain high standards of Awards. This is at the discretion of Awards management / Jury and this cannot be contested in any manner.
  • In the event that no Participant in a category is found to be worthy of inclusion by the Jury, the Award category may be cancelled by the Jury. The decision of the Jury in this regard will be final and non-contestable. The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard.
  • The jewellery applied for the Awards should be commercially available and own creation. The finalists need to submit the selected jewellery piece by self /courier/registered post at the JAS office, by 15th June 2024..
  • Completely filled entry forms and the company's business card is mandatory to be submitted.

    • The jewellery applied for the Awards should meet the general rules and regulations as well as jewellery category requirements as given below.

    • a. By submitting your entry, you grant the organizer the right and license to reproduce, publish, distribute, and display your entry materials, and portions thereof, in any of its publications in all media and advertising the same, and you represent and warrant:
      1. Entry materials (other than actual jewellery pieces) will not be returned. That the work depicted in your entry is your own original creation, that organizer's use and publication of your entry materials will not infringe upon or otherwise violate any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights, any right of publicity, privacy, or other personal right or any law, rule, or regulation.
      2. That the information provided on your payment form and entry form is accurate and complete.
      3. That you have obtained all necessary licenses and releases from persons depicted in, or involved in creating (including photographers), your entry materials and listed on your entry form so that organizer will not incur any obligation or liability to them based upon its use or publication of your entry materials.
    • b. Organizer is not liable for lost, stolen, illegible, misdirected, damaged, or mutilated entries.
    • c. Entry fee is non-refundable and will not be returned (even if your entry is determined to be ineligible or disqualified) unless the competition is cancelled or postponed by the organizer.
    • d. Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone all or portions of the competition for any or no reasons. If you have submitted an entry for a cancelled or postponed portion of the competition, the organizer will refund your entry fee for that entry within thirty (30) days of any decision to cancel or postpone, and the licenses granted by you to the organizer under these rules for the attached entries will terminate. In addition, the organizer reserves the right to combine selected categories. Taxes and other expenses on the awards are to be borne by the winners. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules and by the decision of Organizers is final on all matters regarding these Awards. Awards Participation in the Awards is subject to defined Terms & conditions available on the website.

For Professional

  • Participants can submit entries in form of Hand-Sketched and Rendered, Procreate, CorelDraw 2D, or 3D CAD.
  • Plagiarized designs and any pieces found to have been submitted for any other jewellery design awards will be disqualified immediately.
  • The jury's decision will be final and binding.
  • An applicant can submit multiple entries in the respective participating category but, the applicant needs to fill up separate forms and pay individual entry fees for each piece.
  • The sketch should be made on A4 size sheet. A4 sheet stuck on A3 sheet will also be disqualified.
  • Please do not frame or laminate the sketch.
  • Attach a separate sheet on the backside of the mounted design with personal details and a description of the design in not more than 50 words. The details should include, a side view with measurements, mechanism details if any, materials used, concept, and design story.
  • The sketch would have only the participating line (Design Title) on the top front.
  • Any notation on the front of the design will render the design automatically disqualified.
  • Scanned or emailed sketches to be uploaded on the JAS website, along with the entry form.
  • Each entry fee shall be paid online. Entries submission charges are Rs. 1,000 +GST (for Professionals and Artisans)
  • Completely filled entry form, designed sketch, Payment receipt, individual ID proof (for Professionals and Open to All) is mandatory to be submitted with the respective entry.
  • Delivery of a hard copy of the design on or before 31th May 2024 is compulsory. A hard Copy of the design needs to be sent to JAS Jaipur, 252, Jewellers Association Building, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, Rajasthan

OTHER DETAILS

  • The form is available online at www.jasjaipur.com
  • The sketch must be submitted by self/courier/registered post at JAS office at your own expenses. JAS will not bear any cost.
  • Please keep a copy of the Design Entry Sketch, Entry Form with yourself.
  • JAS reserves the right to cancel any participant's entry or disqualify any participant at any given point of time.
  • JAS is the final deciding authority for the Jewellery Eminence Awards.
  • No entries will be accepted beyond the declared submission deadlines.
  • All disputes are subject to Jaipur Jurisdiction only.
  • All entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.

Design Submission:

  • The last date to submit the sketches is 31th May 2024
  • Finalist participants will be informed via email/phone call. Results will be displayed on the JAS website as well.

For Retailers

Only jewellery Retailers can participate.

Candidates for the "JEA Retailer of the Year" award should embody excellence in various aspects of retailing, from customer service and product quality to innovation, business growth, and social responsibility. To be eligible for the "JEA Jewellery Retailer of the Year" award, candidates typically need to meet certain Prerequisites, which may include:

  1. Excellence in Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service, including personalized assistance, expert advice, and a welcoming atmosphere in-store or online.
  2. Product Quality and Diversity: Offering a wide range of high-quality jewellery products, including unique designs, premium materials, and craftsmanship that exceeds industry standards.
  3. Innovation and Creativity: Demonstrating innovation in jewellery design, marketing strategies, customer engagement, or retail experiences to stay ahead in a competitive market and appeal to modern consumers.
  4. Digital Presence and Technology Adoption: Embracing digital technologies and online platforms to enhance the customer experience, streamline operations, and drive sales growth in an increasingly digital marketplace.

How To Participate

To participate, the retail jeweller needs to prepare a PPT presentation containing the following:

  1. A photo of a copy of the legal document indicating the official location/locations of the store.
  2. A brief write-up about the store and the brand.
  3. Any certifications awarded to the store.
  4. Photographs and a 360-degree panoramic video of the store/stores.
  5. Social media and website links.

Compile these elements into a professional and visually appealing PPT format for submission. The last date of submission is 31th May 2024

The GIA Young Achiever's Award at JEA shines a light on the rising stars of jewellery design. Hailing from design schools and studios across India, these students infuse their creations with fresh ideas, traditional crafts, and contemporary nuances.

JEA takes immense pride in recognizing and showcasing these budding talents, offering them a platform for global exposure and recognition. Let's celebrate the promising future of jewellery design, shaped by the creativity and passion of these exceptional students. This year, JEA is providing an extensive platform for all design students. They are required to submit their portfolios on hard paper to the JAS office, and the shortlisted portfolios will be showcased at an exclusive gallery during the JAS: The Premium B2B Show on July 5th-6th-7th, 2024. But that's not all, JEA'24 brings you a chance to win a fully paid GIA course scholarship* and set your career on a sparkling trajectory.

GIA Young Achiever's Award Rules

Students need to submit colored photocopies of their sketches/design portfolio with their details written on the back.

Submit manual or hand-drawn sketches; no digital or CAD designs will be accepted.

Submit physical copies by self/courier/registered post to JAS office at 252, Jewellers Association Building, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Shortlisted designs will be displayed at JAS show on 5-6-7 July 2024 at JECC Sitapura, Jaipur.

Shortlisted entries will receive participation certificates and growth opportunities.

The winner of GIA Young Achiever's Award category will be awarded a *Fully Paid Scholarship for one of the GIA courses. (*T&C Apply) 

No entry fees for students.

Keep the originals of the submitted Design Entry Sketch with you.

JAS reserves the right to cancel or disqualify entries.

Disputes are subject to Jaipur's jurisdiction.

No entries will be accepted after submission deadlines.

JURY

The Jewellery Eminence Awards, commenced by the Jewellers Association Show will hold a panel of echelons comprising renowned personalities from the world of Jewellery, Fashion, Design, and Society to evaluate the designs.

  • Depiction of Theme
  • Easy Mechanism
  • The commercial viability of the design
